1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session identifiers. Together they let a site recognise your browser between page views and between visits.

2. Categories we use

Strictly necessary. They keep your session active, protect forms against cross-site request forgery, record your cookie choice and support security and bot-protection checks. These are set without consent because the site cannot function safely without them. Blocking them will break forms and security features.

Preferences. Remember choices you make, such as your selected display currency, so you do not have to set them again. The currency cookie is set only after you choose a currency. Your language is part of the page address and does not need a cookie.

Analytics. Help us count visits, see which listings and guides are used, and find slow pages. We use Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager, only after you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

Marketing. We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

4. What Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity measure

Before you choose, and if you choose essential storage only, Google tags run in consent mode and Microsoft Clarity runs in no-consent mode: they set no cookies and store nothing on your device. Google receives only cookieless signals (such as the page, time, browser and screen type and referring page) that it uses for aggregated reports and modelling; Clarity records page views and on-page interactions with a new random ID for each page view, so visits cannot be linked together. After you accept analytics, our Google Tag Manager container (GTM-5FJS5HZX) uses the Google Analytics 4 configuration for property G-55KG7KZ4CN with cookies, plus two additional tags: one that records clicks on links, and one timer that records when a page has been open for five minutes; Clarity may then set its cookies to link the pages of one visit. We use this data only in aggregated form to understand which pages help people. Google and Microsoft process it as described in their own privacy policies. Clarity masks text you type into forms.

5. Local storage and server logs

Your cookie choice is held in the cookie_consent cookie listed above. Listings you save as favourites stay in your browser's local storage and are never sent to us. Our servers also keep access logs containing IP address, request time, page requested and user agent, which we use for security and troubleshooting. Retention of those logs is covered in our Privacy Policy.

6. Your choices

When you first visit, you can accept analytics or continue with essential storage only. You can change that decision at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Rejecting analytics does not reduce your access to listings. If you choose essential only or withdraw consent, no analytics cookies are set from that moment, Clarity deletes its cookies, and only the cookieless measurement described in section 4 continues; you can delete existing _ga cookies in your browser.

7. Browser controls

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies specifically. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will make forms and security checks work less reliably.

8. Third-party services

Links to WhatsApp, Telegram, LINE, maps and social networks take you to those platforms, which may set their own cookies under their own policies. We do not embed advertising services. Review the platforms' privacy and cookie policies before using them.

9. Updates

We may update this policy when the website, our tools or legal requirements change. The "last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
