. On a hillside in Layan, the quiet northern part of Phuket, 16 villas are rising in a development called Akra Collection Layan. The sea is around 700 metres away, and Phuket International Airport is less than 15 minutes by car. This stretch of coast stays low-key: private villas and resorts line the roads, the Laguna Golf course and Trisara are close by, and evenings centre on hotel restaurants and the Baba Beach Club. The homes have three or four bedrooms and between 467 and 512 sq m of space. Akra Development is the builder. Set among tropical greenery with views over the valley, the villas start at THB 28.9 million, and freehold title is available to Thai nationals. A 20% down payment is due at contract signing, with the balance paid in stages as construction progresses. Completion is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027. There are no large supermarkets in the area. Daily shopping is a short drive to a 7-Eleven and a pharmacy, and the beaches at Layan and Nai Thon are minutes away.
