. The hotel-managed condominium The Trees Residence is under construction in a valley in Cherng Talay, on Phuket's west coast. An elephant sanctuary sits 130 metres from the project, and Bang Tao Beach is 2.1 km away. The development groups 296 residences into 17 low-rise buildings with mountain views. Floor plans range from 37 to 55 sqm with one or two bedrooms. Units are sold freehold in the foreign quota, with prices from 4.03 million THB; booking a unit costs 100,000 THB. The project runs on a hotel model: a managing company, round-the-clock reception and a rental programme with an estimated yield of about 11% a year. The grounds will hold a swimming pool, spa, restaurant and co-working space, plus a kids club and playground. Supermarkets, the Porto de Phuket shopping centre and restaurants with strong reviews are close by, and the Laguna international school is a few minutes away by car. There is no public transport in the area, so a car or motorbike will be needed. Completion is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2028.
