. VIP Tropika, a tropical resort-style condominium in Bang Tao, Phuket, is being built 1.1 km from the beach. Its 300 residences range from 29 m² studios to three-bedroom suites of 139 m². Ground-floor units will open straight onto the pool, the rest facing the pool, the gardens or the hills. Supermarkets sit within 800 m, among them the Tops supermarket at Porto de Phuket, which also hosts the area's highly rated restaurants. On site will be a tropical pool, a gym, a kids' playground and a lounge. Developer VIP Property Thailand offers freehold within the foreign quota, and the units come furnished. Prices start at 4.71 million THB. The first three years carry a guaranteed rental return of 6% per annum, and payments spread over the construction period. Maintenance runs at 60 THB per square metre per month, plus a one-off sinking fund at transfer. Handover is scheduled for 2028.
